2018 has been an incredible year for online education generally, and for Thinkific course creators, specifically. As we celebrate the successes that you’ve had, we’re also constantly looking for how we can best support your business both now and into the future.
While we’re taking this moment to review our pricing, we’re always mindful and appreciative that it’s you (our amazing customers) that have gotten us where we are today. We want to respect the expectations you had when you started and as a result, existing customers are welcome to stay on your current plans for at least two years.
As some of you might know, we haven’t changed our pricing in over 3 years. In that time, we’ve evolved significantly and we’ve learned a lot about where our customers find value in Thinkific. What hasn’t changed is our goal to support entrepreneurs in growing their business, and ensuring they have a low-barrier way to get started.
In reviewing our pricing, we set out to:
- Increase access to high growth features on a scalable basis so more customers like you can use them
- Reduce transaction fees that customers find frustrating
- Continue to provide a way for new course creators to get started for free
Over the last year, we’ve looked at a ton of data and talked to our customers to come up with the next evolution of our pricing.
We’re excited to share the full details of our new pricing on October 10th, but we wanted to be as transparent as possible with you throughout this change. To that end, we also wanted to share that all current customers will be welcome to continue on their pricing plan for at least two years.
