Thinkific AI Addendum – Notice of Integration
PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES A BINDING UPDATE TO THE THINKIFIC AI ADDENDUM PURSUANT TO SECTION 10 THEREOF. THIS UPDATE IS EFFECTIVE AS OF May 1, 2026 AND REQUIRES NO FURTHER ACTION OR CONSENT BY YOU.
1. Integration into Plus Terms of Service. Pursuant to Section 10 of the Thinkific AI Addendum (the “Addendum“), which you previously executed and agreed to, Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific“) hereby updates the Addendum by integrating all terms governing the use of AI features into Section 3.6 of the Thinkific Plus Terms of Service, available at www.thinkific.com/plus-terms-of-service/ (the “Plus Terms of Service“). This Notice and the integration described herein apply only to customers whose underlying agreement with Thinkific is the standard Plus Terms of Service. For such customers, the Addendum is retired and superseded by Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service as of May 1, 2026. If your agreement with Thinkific is governed by a custom or separately negotiated agreement, this Notice does not apply to you, and your use of AI features will continue to be governed by the Addendum (as may be updated separately).
2. Authority and Binding Effect. Section 10 of the Addendum expressly authorizes Thinkific to update the Addendum by posting updated terms at www.thinkific.com/legal, and provides that such updates are effective upon posting without requirement for notice or consent. This Notice constitutes such an update and is immediately effective as of the Effective Date stated above. For customers on the standard Plus Terms of Service, the integrated terms set forth in Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service supersede and replace the Addendum in its entirety and are immediately binding upon you by operation of the Addendum’s own terms. Your continued access to or use of any AI features on or after the Effective Date constitutes acceptance of an agreement to be bound by the integrated terms. If you discontinue use of all AI Features on or before the Effective Date and do not resume use thereafter, the integrated terms in Section 3.6 will not apply to you; however, all other provisions of the Plus Terms of Service remain in full force and effect.
3. Immediate Effectiveness for Existing Customers on Standard Plus Terms. For customers whose underlying agreement with Thinkific is the standard Plus Terms of Service and who have previously agreed to the Addendum, Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service is effective immediately as of the Effective Date and supersedes and replaces the Addendum in its entirety. No re-execution of any agreement, no opt-in, and no affirmative acknowledgment is required. Your continued access to or use of any AI features or functionality provided through the Plus Services on or after the Effective Date constitutes your acceptance of the integrated terms set forth in Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service. For customers on custom or separately negotiated agreements, the Addendum remains in effect and is not superseded by this Notice.
4. Supersession and Order of Precedence. For customers on the standard Plus Terms of Service, as of the Effective Date, Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service supersedes and replaces the Addendum in its entirety. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms of the prior Addendum and the terms of Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service, Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service will govern and control in all respects. No term or provision of the prior Addendum that is inconsistent with the Plus Terms of Service will have any further force or effect. This Section does not apply to customers whose agreement with Thinkific is governed by a custom or separately negotiated agreement.
5. Scope of Integration. For customers on the standard Plus Terms of Service, the integrated provisions set forth in Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service address the same subject matter as the prior Addendum and govern your use of AI Features on a going-forward basis. Thinkific has made this change to consolidate the terms governing your use of the Plus Services into a single agreement and to eliminate the need for a separate standalone addendum. Section 3.6 includes updates reflecting the evolution of the AI Features and applicable law; you are encouraged to review Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service.
6. Access to Prior Addendum. For reference purposes only, an archived copy of the Thinkific AI Addendum as it was in effect immediately prior to the Effective Date (version effective January 19, 2026) is available here. This archived copy is provided for informational and historical reference only and has no legal effect as of the Effective Date.
7. Access to Current Terms. The current Plus Terms of Service, including the integrated AI provisions in Section 3.6, are available at www.thinkific.com/plus-terms-of-service/. You are encouraged to review Section 3.6 of the Plus Terms of Service in its entirety.
