Tiyana Robinson is a Washington DC-based Professional Makeup Artist and Founder of Makeup Mogul University, the world’s FIRST online business school exclusively for Makeup Artists.
In 2013, after being asked by a friend to do makeup for an event, Tiyana decided to pursue her first love: makeup artistry. Since then, her work has taken Washington D.C. (and the world) by storm! Tiyana’s makeup has been seen ripping the runway of New York Fashion Week where she served as Key Makeup Artist for the first show in NYFW history to exclusively feature models of color. She’s been featured on television shows including VH1 and Good Morning Washington and has worked with countless beautiful brown Brides in the DC area and abroad.
When she’s not painting beautiful faces, Tiyana spends her days helping Makeup Artists grow into Makeup MOGULS through her online courses and membership site.
We sat down with Tiyana to learn more about her entrepreneurship journey and how she has been able to transition her service based business into an online academy.
