Building A Sales Funnel From YouTube To Online Courses
Before Jessica was an online course creator, she was working as a freelance web designer. While Jessica was working with a handful of clients, she struggled in knowing how to turn her freelance services into a profitable business.
Raising her prices brought her more qualified and professional clients, but something was still missing for Jessica.
Being a full-time consultant kept her at the beck and call of her clients – something she wanted to change being a new mom.
Recognizing the power of online courses to monetize her YouTube audience, and provide time and location freedom, Jessica created her course in 2016.
Launching her first course taught her an important lesson: the importance of building a thoughtful sales pipeline. With no real sales funnel in place, she was unable to convert her audience into paying customers. “My first course launch was a complete flop,” Jessica shared.
As Jessica tested different marketing and sales strategies in her business, she was able to refine her sales funnel and generate revenue.
Four months later, Jessica achieved a five-figure launch with her online course. That was a turning point in her business. “I realized I could make more with online courses than I could servicing multiple web design client at the time. This really opened up my eyes that I could really go full-force into online course creation, and make more money with more freedom.”
